I believe art is based on truth. The first step in making the art is, to be honest with yourself.

I study movement, color psychology, and physiognomy experimenting with testing the duration of lines, describing the ease of drawing, and creating coloristic conditions.

My paintings show context without banalizing the literal. Mostly because I always give the advantage to the subconscious and metaphor.

It is always a challenge to trick the brain because it has the tendency to fall under the slavery of past experience.
